Project: “Similarity Analysis for Petroleum Exploration”
Scientific Interests: Classification, Machine Learning, Trend Prediction, Uncertainty Estimation
What triggers me scientifically: Predictive analytics is the use of statistics, machine learning and modelling to analyze current and historical facts to make predictions about future events. The power to predict who will click, buy or do fraud is simply fascinating. This is the area of interest for both industry and academics. This drives me to dig deeper in this field and conduct a research in this area.
