]]> SIRIUS researchers are presenting at and participating in the a two-day conference on “Health Data Analysis: Innovation and Strategies in the Age of Big Health Data” to be held at the Oslo Cancer Cluster on 19th-20th October. We will be presenting our perspectives on cross-domain transfer of technologies between the petroleum sector and potential growth areas in healthcare and health technologies.

Tore Hartvigsen from DNV-GL will be presenting on Friday 20th about the application of the Optique semantic data platform to improve patient safety in a hospital.

To bring together the community to learn about examples of reuse of healthcare data and methods for working with large and varied datasets.

Summary

Huge quantities of complex and diverse data are generated everyday in healthcare institutions, including clinical documentation (diagnostics, lab data, imaging data, etc.), administrative data, activities and cost data, and R&D data from clinical trials. We have invited speakers to talk about a broad range of topics related to connecting and and analyzing health-care datasets.
