What does the Cloud mean for the Oil & Gas Industry? Workshop 18th November

Making the Cloud work for Oil and Gas. How can research drive innovation?

The Cloud is changing the way companies access their applications, process their data and manage their infrastructure. What are the implications of this for the oil and gas supply chain. How can current and future research and development ensure that the Cloud improves the quality and availability of data for decision-making in oil and gas.

The SIRIUS Centre is holding a workshop on the Cloud in oil and gas in Oslo on Friday 18th November 2016. At this seminar we will gain an insight into how operating companies and key vendors are viewing the cloud and we will discuss together where research should be focussed. You will also get an opportunity to be updated on important European research projects on cloud computing: Envisage, HyVar, PaaSage and Melodic.

Where: Clarion Royal Christiania Hotel, Biskop Gunnerus’ gate, Oslo

When: Friday 18th November.

Cost: The workshop is free. We will invoice no-shows  NOK 500 to cover the cost of refreshments. Registrations from non-partners in SIRIUS will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
