Ingrid Chieh Yu is an Associate Professor at University of Oslo. Her research interests include the design and analysis of concurrent, distributed, context-dependent and evolving systems. Yu worked at Det Norske Veritas as a Senior Researcher in DNV Research and Innovation, and returned to the University as Associate Professor in 2011. She is the Mentoring and Education Coordinator of SIRIUS and from 2019 will be the Deputy Director of SIRIUS. She was one of the Principal investigators of CUMULUS, a NFR funded research project and the site leader of the EU H2020 HyVAR project, which addressed continuous context dependent software evolution of telematics and on-board systems in cars. She is leading the activities in designing a scalable cloud infrastructure for monitoring and individually customizing software upgrades for remote devices.
