Two PhD Research Fellowships in intersection between semantics, data science, databases and natural language, with applications in SIRIUS. Deadline 7th April 2019

SIRIUS has two open PhD positions with application deadline 7th April 2019
Work at the intersection of natural language processing, semantic technologies, and machine learning.  It concerns the combination of structured and textual information sources, mostly with applications in petroleum exploration.
Examining the relationship between conceptual models (e.g. ontologies) and information models (database constraints, SHACL, ShEx, epistemic logic, and the likes) as drivers of information systems.  Likely use cases will concern data sets about large industrial designs and installations.
